Photographed over the course of three consecutive winters, these images capture Brighton Beach, UK during the low season. Presented by the infrequency of human activity, these public facilities become out of function, out of use. No longer distracted by inhabitants, they begin to serve another function. They stand alone as objects, repurposed. They are suspended, in-between seasons, isolated by white skies. They are in hibernation, waiting for the usual hours to return.
